I like to consider myself a movie buff, as well as a car lover. When these two things collide I am in for a great time! Below you’ll find our favorite car movies, in no specific order, of course.

  • Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby – some people don’t care for Will Ferrell, but if you’re like us, he can make you belly-laugh. This is a great light hearted movie about NASCAR and what it means to be American… well, kind of.
  • The Great Race – Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood star in this hilarious early 1990’s romp between New York and Paris that might be a tad more tasteful than Talladega Nights.
  • Back To The Future – Toyota’s SR5 pickup truck played an important role as Marty McFly’s dream car. The truck sold in the U.S. from 1972 until 1995 when it was replaced by the Tacoma. On the film’s 30th birthday, October 21, 2015, Toyota recreated Marty’s truck. Fun Fact: that day is known as Back To The Future Day!
  • Fast And The Furious – Although mostly marketed as an action movie, how could we not put this one on our list. The cars are jacked up, power-houses, and ready to put the pedal to the metal. Not to mention, a Toyota Supra made appearances throughout the franchise.
